Gary Oppedahl will present "Developing Vision for Yourself and Others"

Topic: "Developing Vision for Yourself and Others"

Learning objectives

1. The audience will learn how to develop a vision as a process:
   a. Know yourself
   b. Know your purpose
   c. Know your context
Using these as a starting point, the audience will learn to create a vision for themselves, their organization and their employees

2. The audience will understand the importance of future and current trends to their current work.

3. The audience will be able to articulate how their individual strengths and vision will contribute to the vision for themselves, their organization and their community, and use these strengths to shape and grow our community by incorporating a "sustainable design approach" to develop their organization.

Gary is currently with Emera, a $25 Billion Energy Company.  He is serving as Vice President of Emerging Technologies and gets to help set the future direction of energy generation, distribution, storage and use for North America.  Gary set up an office at Innovate ABQ and has received funding from Emera Corporate to form a skunkworks called Emera Technologies, LLC.
