Summary of Presentation:
Presentation will cover benefits and best practices of meaningful employment for people with disabilities and basic common strategies for supporting individuals with disabilities in your workplace.

Abou t Our Speakers:

Carrie Roberts, M.Ed, is a Certified Employment Supports Professional.  She has more than 25 years of experience supporting with people with developmental disabilities in a variety of roles.  Carrie currently serves as an Education and Outreach Manager at the Center for Development and Disability where she oversees the Partners for Employment (PFE) program.  The PFE team works with stakeholders to provide training opportunities, technical assistance and support with evidence-based best practices in supported employment and school-to-work transition initiatives.  

Lisa Kalberg, MA is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has worked in a variety of roles over the last ten years with the Autism Programs at the Center for Development and Disability. Her current role is Education and Outreach Manager with community training programs, including the Autism+ Program which works with community organizations to increase a sense of belonging for patrons and employees with Autism and other disabilities. She is passionate about human rights and meaningful employment for all.
